Greensboro Fashion Week

Greensboro, NC (January 12, 2016) – Sept. 22-25, 2016, Greensboro Fashion Week will celebrate its third annual season. Directors and style visionaries Witneigh Davis and Giovanni Ramadani are building on that success with an event like never before, showcasing four unique nights throughout the week. Emerging Designer, High End Retail, and Everything Bridal nights will make up the dazzling slate, along with a soon-to-be announced special feature night.

Greensboro Fashion Week is created for the people, reflecting fashion’s perpetual ability to bring together a variety of  cultures. With a strong emphasis on the young millennials who steer the direction  of the evolving fashion industry, seven  area colleges participate in the event, building relationships for professionals  within the fashion industry and highlighting the power of networking.

While the week is built around a love for fashion, it is also an event dedicated to the betterment of the local community. Greensboro Fashion Week calls the Gate City “home,” and promotes itself to a committed and growing audience.

Emily May is a perfect example of an individual who truly embraced what it means to own personal style and belief in oneself. Emily’s Plea is a non-profit, local charity extremely close to GSOFW’s heart – working toward educating the public about the dangers surrounding drunk and distracted driving. GSO Fashion Week is dedicated to honoring her legacy throughout the event.
